The Success of Our Club Comes From Our Staff of  Dedicated Volunteers.

When the Petrides School, an New York City Department of Education  Kindergarten through 12th Grade lottery school, opened in 1995 on the 43 acre campus that was once housed the College of Staten Island, parents saw the need for after school activities that would enable there children the opportunity to spend time with classmates outside of class.    In 1996, these parents formed the Petrides Athletic Club (PAC) and offered multiple after-school sports activates to the growing student body.  One of these activates was a K through 8 soccer program which competed within the Staten Island Youth Soccer League (SIYSL).   Over the years the soccer program has grown into an independent Soccer Club, with over 350 members on 22 teams in age groups from U5 through U14, all coached by a volunteer staff of over 75 dedicate parent.
The club still follows the commitment of our founding members by building friendships through sports, and stresses Sportsmanship and Teamwork as part of our core values.   In addition, the club reinforces the Code of Conduct taught at Petrides School by following their P.A.W.S. mantra:

Play fairly   Act responsibly   Work together   Show respect
